SES AI Corporation has successfully ramped up its drone battery plant in Chungju, South Korea, to an annual production capacity of one million NDAA-compliant cells. Due to strong customer demand, the company plans to expand the facility's capacity to three million cells per year by Q2 2027. The plant, operational since 2021, focuses on high-silicon Li-ion and anode-free Li-Metal cells.
