SFL Corp. Wins ~$55M Court Ruling Against Seadrill Over Hercules Rig Dispute

SFL Corporation Ltd. has won a court ruling against Seadrill Ltd., with the Borgarting Court of Appeal ordering Seadrill to pay approximately NOK 525 million (around $55 million) to SFL's subsidiary due to a breach of contract related to the redelivery of the Hercules rig. This judgment upholds a previous ruling from February 2025 and includes compensation, late payment interest, and legal costs.
