Vericel Announces It Has Been Awarded A Ten-Year Contract By The U.S. Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority Within HHS; Contract Worth Up To $197M, Effective From April 1

Vericel has been awarded a ten-year contract by the U.S. Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, valued at up to $197 million, effective from April 1, 2026. The contract includes a base period of $35 million, which allocates approximately $10 million for the initial procurement of NexoBrid for the U.S. Strategic National Stockpile and related services. Additional optional awards may cover further procurement, clinical development for blast trauma indications, and the establishment of a U.S.-based manufacturing facility.
