Vir Biotechnology, Inc. (Nasdaq: VIR) has received Fast Track designation from the FDA for its product VIR-5500, aimed at treating metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). VIR-5500 is a PSMA-targeted PRO-XTEN® dual-masked T-cell engager, developed in collaboration with Astellas Pharma Inc. This designation may expedite the development and review process for the treatment.
