Viatris Receives FDA Approval For RYZUMVI To Treat Presbyopia In Adults

Viatris Inc. (NASDAQ: VTRS) has received FDA approval for RYZUMVI (phentolamine ophthalmic solution 0.75%) to treat presbyopia in adults, expanding its indications beyond pharmacologically-induced mydriasis. RYZUMVI is currently the only FDA-approved product for this use. The company is also seeking a partner in the U.S. to commercialize RYZUMVI for presbyopia treatment.
