Wabtec Secures $700M+ Service Deal For Guinea’s Simandou Project, Bringing Total Investment Value To $1.2B

Wabtec Corporation has secured a long-term services agreement worth over $700 million with La Compagnie du TransGuinéen (CTG) to support its fleet of Evolution Series locomotives for the Simandou mining project. This contract marks Wabtec's largest services agreement in Africa, bringing the total investment value for the project to over $1.2 billion. The railway, spanning over 600 kilometers, is vital for transporting high-grade iron ore and other goods, contributing to significant infrastructure development in Guinea.
