Essential Utilities’ Aqua Illinois Advances 14 Statewide Water And Wastewater Infrastructure Projects Representing Nearly $40M In Investment

Aqua Illinois, a subsidiary of Essential Utilities, is advancing 14 water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Illinois, with a total investment of nearly $40 million. These projects will upgrade approximately 100,000 feet of water main and nearly 284,000 feet of wastewater infrastructure, enhancing service reliability and preventing leaks. Construction is set to begin or continue in the second half of 2026, with some projects extending into 2027.
