XRP Price Shows Calm Before the Storm as ETFs Near $2 Billion Milestone

XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) has wavered this month, underperforming other top altcoins such as Zcash (CRYPTO: ZEC), Near Protocol (CRYPTO: NEAR), and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH). The token was trading at $1.5485 on Saturday, but ongoing ETF inflows suggest a strong rebound may be on the horizon. XRP ETFs are Nearing a $2 Billion Milestone American retail and institutional investors are buying spot XRP ETFs, a sign that they expect the price to rebound. The funds had over $22.6 million in inflows on Friday, the fourth consecutive day of gains. They have now added over $117 million in assets, bringing the cumulative inflows to $1.8 billion. Spot XRP ETFs now have over $1.7 billion in assets, a figure that may cross the $2 billion milestone if the trend continues. This growth is led by the Bitwise XRP ETF (NYSE:XRP), which has accumulated $647 million in assets. Franklin’s XRPZ and Canary’s XRPC are the other top ETFs. XRP whale buying has also accelerated. The ongoing XRP ETF inflows has coincided with those of other coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Bitcoin ETF inflows have jumped by over $2.4 billion this month, while Ethereum and Solana have soared by $877 million and $264 million, respectively. The Ripple USD stablecoin growth continues the momentum, with its market capitalization soaring to over $2.4 billion. RLUSD in XRP Ledger has jumped to over $1.1 billion. XRP’s demand has continued to rise in the spot and futures markets. Its futures open interest have jumped to $3.6 billion, its highest level since January this year, a sign that demand continues rising. It is about to form a golden cross pattern, which happens when the 50-day and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMA) cross each other. This pattern often leads to more gains. In XRP’s case, the last time it formed a golden cross was in November 2024, which led to a significant short squeeze. XRP has remained above the Supertrend indicator, a sign that bulls have prevailed. Therefore, the coin will likely have a strong bullish breakout, potentially to the psychological level of $2, which is about 30% above the current level.
