Why This Analyst Says XRP Could Have 'One of the Greatest Runs of the Cycle'

XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) could be setting up for one of the strongest rallies of the current crypto cycle after posting a 35% gain over the past three months, according to a prominent cryptocurrency analyst. Trader and analyst CrediBULL Crypto on Thursday stated it could be “one of the greatest runs” potentially even outperforming Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) in terms of returns from their respective lows. The trader quoted Ripple’s (CRYPTO: RLUSD) stablecoin data showing a circulating market capitalization of $2.49 billion as of Sept. 28, up more than 86% from the beginning of 2026. Its supply increased by almost $112 million over the preceding week, bringing RLUSD within roughly $248 million of PayPal USD’s with $2.74 billion valuation. Ethereum currently accounts for about 56% of RLUSD supply, while the XRP Ledger represents the remaining 44%. Between Sept. 21 and Sept. 28, RLUSD supply on XRPL increased by $63 million, while Ethereum-based supply climbed roughly $49 million. Will XRP Outperform? CrediBULL Crypto cautioned on X that XRP remains stuck in a lower-time-frame range and may not yet be ready for its next major move. Once that breakout arrives, he expects the move to be significant, suggesting investors "spot and chill" while waiting for the setup to develop. In the short term, crypto chart analyst Ali Martinez identified $1.54 as the immediate level to watch. Martinez said XRP appears to be forming a symmetrical triangle on the hourly chart, with an hourly close above $1.54 needed to confirm a breakout. If confirmed, the pattern could produce a roughly 10% rally toward $1.70. Evernorth To Hold 473.3 Million XRP XRP’s broader institutional narrative also received a boost after Armada Acquisition Corp. II shareholders reportedly approved its merger with Evernorth Holdings. The shareholder vote clears a major transaction hurdle but does not mean the merger has closed. Evernorth’s SEC registration materials show company’s expectation to hold at least 473.3 million XRP at closing. That planned treasury includes roughly 126.8 million XRP contributed by Ripple, about 211.3 million XRP from the sponsor and approximately 84.4 million XRP purchased.
